In May 2025, my wife and I with my cousin and his wife embarked on a memorable three-week trip across Europe and beyond, starting in London and visiting Istanbul, on an ocean cruise to Kusadasi, three Greek islands, and Cairo before concluding in Athens and then to finish up the trip to our namesake, the town of Butzbach in Germany.

Being inspired by Santorini to be exact, who hasn’t, if you have ever visited and seen the iconic blue-domed buildings. With so many photos and paintings of these sites I figured I should do the same. So here is my rendering of this iconic architecture.
