A mentorship

The first 2 months of 2025 in the dead of winter, I have been working on a mentorship program with artist and teacher Sarah Sedwick. I always try to seek out established artists that can teach me new technique’s, be it art or music or other art endeavors that I am involved with, Sarah for this mentorship was the right choice!

The exercises that she gave to me helped me to have a better understanding with values in painting that brings out more dimension and depth to my work. I’m glad that I did this mentorship in the winter months as I had the right amount of time to dedicate to the process. That is absolutely a must if you want to learn and apply want you have learned to your abilities. I have included some of my work from the last 2 months to let you see some of the progression.
