Reflecting on the pictures I took on our trip of a lifetime, Mykonos, Greece, and its many churches. It was a beautiful sunny day, not too hot, exactly right, with a deep azure, blue, clear sky that only enhanced the beauty of the Greek island. The St. Nicolas Church is a typical Greek church. With a red dome (Terra Cotta color) and white walls, it shines in the sunshine. The church is a popular motif in downtown Mykonos Town. It is located right next to the “Little Venice” district. The St. Nicholas Church (also known as Agios Nikolaos) is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Mykonos Town, characterized by its striking red dome and bright white walls. This classic example of Cycladic architecture is at the edge of the Old Port.
